Royal Oak Day-Date Moon Phases
Thanks to the iconoclast Gerald Genta who had this genius stroke of pen in early 70s Audemars Piguet got its icon and most innovative watch design ever made which became and still is its best-seller: the Royal Oak. In 1983 the brand developed a Day-Date version ref. 25572 (aka. « the owl ») which AP improved in 1985 by adding Moon phases: the ref.25594.
