Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Tuscan dial
Ref. 25820PT
The perpetual calendar of AP was developped in 1981. It was put in a Royal Oak case in 1984 with the ref. 5554 and these are known as the « non leap year QP » as the movement did not allow that complication. The present watch belongs to the second generation which started the « leap year QP » line with reference 25820. This beauty is proposing for many collectors the best of most worlds: a true complication encased in a design masterpiece 39mm sports watch made of…platinum! This metal is usually featuring a special rich textured blue dial called « Tuscany ». It is said only 12 pieces of this reference were made with this configuration.
Dial: Tuscan dial with silver MK2 lettering. Original « needle hands » for hours/minutes and blued small hands for subregisters.
Case: Sharp 9.3mm thick case with minor polishing history. Stunning. The bracelet is still standing revealing its tight condition.
