Endangered species: the last pump pusher Daytona produced only for 1 year in 1970/71
Serial: 2,42x,xxx (1970)
Dial: simply a zero default black dial with fabulous silver print lettering and the famous « DAYTONA » above the lower subdial which has aged with a blue hue. Immaculate white subdials. All luminous plots are in place and hands luminous is matching the index. UV test make them all glow green & vanish.
Case: steel which is showing only minor if any polishing history. Back case 6239 CRS (stands for Charles-René Spielmann, a friend of Rolex’s founder Hans Wilsdorf who was a case maker and the supplier of some Rolex parts).
Pushers: pump, original short pushers
Movement: very clean Valjoux 727
Bracelet: folded oyster bracelet ref.7835/19 with 357 end links.
