ROLEX Daytona « JPS »
Paul Newman 18k gold
Ref. 6241

An icon among icons. This ultra-rare Rolex Cosmograph Daytona ref. 6241 in 18k yellow gold is one of the most coveted vintage Daytonas ever produced. Nicknamed the « John Player Special » after the famous Formula 1 livery, it features a striking black dial with gilt printing, pump pushers, and the legendary black acrylic bezel.

This example is preserved in fantastic condition, with a strong case and beautifully aged dial. The combination of gold and black creates a uniquely bold yet elegant aesthetic—an unmistakable statement of the late 1960s motorsport-inspired luxury.

Produced in very limited numbers between 1966 and 1969, the 6241 in gold is a true grail for collectors. A cornerstone piece for any serious Daytona portfolio.
