ROLEX Daytona

This type of « Zenith Daytona » were made famous in 2006 by auctioneer Osvaldo Patrizzi noticing the discoloration of his watch subdials. The protection from the zapon (varnish) on those subdials was not strong enough and made them oxidize under the effect of UV rays. Black dials of serial S, T, W and some U have so far reacted that way.
Serial : S15xxxx (1994). Only the first half of S serial can have inverted 6.
Dial : Fantastic condition dial with inverted 6 and caramel brown subdials. Surely one of the very first patrizzi! Exceptional.
