Cosmograph Daytona exotic tri-color dial aka « Paul Newman ». Yes the one that people did not like in the 70’s. The one watch you said to yourself « the next perfect one i grab it ». This is it and this is now.

Serial:   1,76x,xxx (1968)

Dial: Exceptional condition for this very rare dial version provided by SINGER to Rolex Geneva Heritage Department. It is exactly the same cliché used for the famous « JPS cherry » Daytona. The black dial is flawless and feature magnificent subdials with a greyish hue. All luminous material are present and matching with the hands.

Case: very nice and thick case which retained its original proportions and an equal distance between the lugs’ holes and the edges. Caseback 6239 CRS (Charles-René Spielmann, friend of Rolex’s founder Hans Wildorf).

Bracelet: 7235/19 oyster folded band with rare 271 end links. Earlier clasp.
