ROLEX GMT-Master Bakelite « Pussy Galore » ref.6542

Rolex ref. 6542 GMT Master with original bakelite bezel.
aka. « Pussy Galore » as worn by the famous James Bond girl in Goldfinger.
The watch was actually ordered by Pan-Am for their commercial airline pilots to keep track of two time zones.

Serial 42x,xxx (1958/59) with service paper from Rolex Geneva dated from January 2015 and triangle box.

Flawless glossy dial (only possible for the 1958/59 GMT), extremelly sharp case.
The split red/blue of the bakelite in between « 1|8 » is also matching the post 1957 period.
Oyster rivet bracelet 7206/58 clasp from 4/67. Radium test video available upon request.

Probably one of the best Bakelite GMT Master still existing.
