Rare cushion-shape watch in steel that Rolex will choose to supply armed forces during WWII. It will be tagged « Army ».
Serial: 113,xxx (1940/41)
Dial: very glossy black gilt dial with a « Californian » configuration and fat Mercedes hands. Radium numeral index still nicely glowing under UV test. Chapter ring. Blued steel red topped hand for seconds.
Case: unusual cushion-shaped 32mm. Case back with a party for the eyes with all those patent!
Movement: manuel winding 18 rubis signed « Rolex chronometer »
