ZENITH
stainless steel « Keyhole » ref.A6621

This timepiece was produced from 1960 until 1969. The present one is a true « New Old Stock » with no sign of wear which is pretty remarkable for a 1967 watch! The « Disco-volant-esque » design was popular back then but this reference features another very pronounced shape when you look at it: a key-hole. An aperture at six-o-clock cut in the stainless steel bezel is housing the date. This construction is providing a unique personality to the watch. Not only the case and bezel are bevelled with an angle providing some thickness to an overall delicate watch but the plexiglass is formed of one piece and fits perfectly inside following the same curves.

Serial: 6.45x.xxx (1967)

Dial: absolutely perfect silver grey soleil dial with applied non luminous square index surmounted by a pyramid. The « guiding star » emblem of Zenith is reigning above the center. The stainless steel hands are black painted in their center.

Case: The case is new unworn and of course unpolished. The large brushed bezel contrasts with the chrome finish of the case. The crown features the « guiding star » of Zenith. 35,5mm size diameter for 10,25mm thickness.

Mouvement: Automatic, self winding. 2542 caliber 25 jewels in absolutely mint/new condition.

Bracelet: original black leather (of poor quality though) is sold with the watch but we put a magnificent hand made and sewed mat grey alligator strap that suits perfectly the watch. 18mm lug width. The buckle is the original Zenith one which is like the rest of the watch: new.

Box & Papers: no box or papers. Watch only.

This is a great opportunity to seize a « statement watch ». A truely marvellous timepiece with a unique personality in « New Old Stock » condition.
