PATEK PHILIPPE Aquanaut Jumbo 5065A with pronounced patina tritium full set
Original Jumbo 5065A of 38mm produced from 1997 to end of 2006. The presented timepiece was manufactured in 1999 and sold in Japan. It comes with a spectacular and unusual complete set which seems specific for the Japanese market. Notably a seldom seen large leather portfolio carrying the certificate of origin, original invoice and booklets. The watch also carries the famous Geneva seal on its movement.
Serial / movement: 3,01x,xxx/4.06x.xxx (1999).
Dial: raised guilloché motif mirroring the pattern & texture of its rubber strap and applied Arabic numerals. The tritium of the index have caught a particularly pronounced yellow patina especially sought after by collectors. The hands have another luminous mix than the index as they glow differently and in a very subtle way.
Case: very thick with the satin-brushed finished.
Bracelets: featured with its original black rubber strap.
Papers & box: original guarantee, box (another flaking one…what a shame Patek used this supplier), tags, booklets.
A true marvelous Jumbo sized Aquanaut with soul supplement. This one certainly deserves even more than usual its huge sympathetic capital.
