PATEK PHILIPPE Aquanaut « Jumbo » 5065J
The reference 5065J (J = « Jaune » meaning « Yellow » for yellow gold) is the original « Jumbo » Aquanaut of 38mm diameter produced from 1997 to end of 2006. The presented timepiece was manufactured in 2004 and sold in December 2004. It comes with its Patek Philippe extract from the archives and burgundy leather travel pouch.
Serial / movement: 3,25x,xxx/4.27x.xxx (2004).
Dial: raised guilloché motif mirroring the pattern & texture of its rubber strap and brushed yellow gold applied Arabic numerals. The superluminova of the index and hands still allows a perfect and lasting read of the time in the dark. The hand for second is typical of the last dial generation with a larger tail.
Case: impressive and very thick with the satin-brushed finished.
Movement: 315SC caliber with the Geneva Seal engraved.
Bracelets: featured with a moka rubber strap.
Papers & box: extract from the archives and Patek Philippe travel pouch.
Superb example of the so cool Jumbo Aquanaut carrying a huge sympathetic capital and getting rarer by the day in pristine condition especially in yellow gold.
