18k Gold Nautilus from 1978 serial/case 1.307.xxx/544xxx

This timepiece is one of the only 1400 produced in gold and this example is in a stunning condition.

The dial (type 4) is flawless. No imperfection. It has retained its original and classic color which is dark blue with «sigma SWISS sigma» at 6 o’clock indicating the use of gold for the index & hands as indicated on the extract of the archives.

The luminous are perfectly uniform & functioning with hands and index reacting to UV test.

The bezel shows the sharp angles of the porthole design of Gerald Genta characteristic of the Nautilus reference. The satin finish all over the watch is absolutely gorgeous and reveals a likely polish in recent past. White gold « Nautilus » clasp.

The large bracelet counts 17 gold links and retains an excellent tight condition as the watch stands up without collapsing.

This timepiece comes with its extract of the archives dated from February 2017.
