ROLEX Daytona
« Big Red » full set
Ref. 6263

Iconic and sublim design, the « Big Red » generation of the Daytona certainly helped building the legend of ROLEX as a brand. It is one of its best seller and an analogy with the sports cars universe would say it is the 911 of the wrist! The « Big Red » is the third dial generation of this reference and came after the « Sigma » dial. It was produced from 1975 until 1987. The presented timepiece is the favourite Daytona configuration of Mr. Paul Newman as he kept this version and gifted instead James Cox with the exotic dial version of Daytona 6239 back in 1984.

Serial: 5.50x.xxx (sold in Dec 1977)
