
ROLEX Daytona Paul Newman

Unbelievably well preserved timepiece. A Cosmograph Daytona exotic tri-color dial aka « Paul Newman » in spectacular condition. The one watch you said to yourself « the next perfect one i grab it ». This is it and this is now.
Serial: 2,3xx,xxx (1970)
Dial: MK2 version with small « T SWISS T » at six o’clock. Mind blowing condition with absolutely ZERO defect. Perfect original luminous dots and hands matching the index. UV test make them all glow & vanish. Subregisters are turning brown under the sun light but this is not obvious on normal daylight (pleasant hidden surprise!).
Case: nice case which retained its original proportions and an equal distance between the lugs’ holes and the edges. Back case 6241 CRS (Charles-René Spielmann, friend of Rolex’s founder Hans Wildorf).
Pushers: pump
Movement: manual, Valjoux 722-1, 17 jewels.
Bracelet: 7205 oyster band with ultra rare 71 end links. Slightly earlier clasp dated 1 66.
Box & Papers: no box, no papers but its WatchCertificate (independant expertise confirming authenticity and logged into the blockchain)
