Rolex GMT-Master 1675 featuring gilt dials range from 1960 until 1966. 1960-62 had radium luminous. 1962-1964 was for transitional dials with exclamation point or underline following a change of regulation by the Atomic Energy Commission in the early 60s imposing to lower the radiation used in the dials. 1964-66 were the last glossy « mirror effect » dial which carried tritium luminous. The presented timepiece belongs to that period.

Dial: superb « type C » gilt dial with SWISS – T<25 at 6 o’clock. Puffy tritium index which are still perfectly glowing under UV test. Hands are matching the period (small GMT hand) and tritium.
Case: super sharp and thick. Case back « 1675 » is original and matching the watch engraved II.66 for second quarter of 1966 on the inside and has initial owner’s initials on the outside.
Bezel: original faded fat font bezel. The red caught a silvery patina while the blue has turned « blue jeans ».
Mouvement: mint condition Valjoux 1570, manual winding.
Bracelet: Rolex jubilee bracelet 6251H, 55 end links, slightly later clasp 1 70.
