Produced from 1964 to 1985 the 5513 is one of the best seller of the Rolex family. The present watch is an early example from Q1 1965 with « meters first » gilt lettering.
Serial: 1,21x,xxx (1965)
Dial: very glossy gilt dial. On the minute track 75% of the edge is tropicalising from 12h all the round until 8h. Tritium have began to erode but are still nicely working. Hands seems to have been changed a long time ago as they do not match the luminescent colour of the index under UV light.
Case: nice & thick showing only minor polishing history. Original back case 5513 with « 165 » engraded (Q1 1965) matching the serial number period.

Bracelet: original oyster bracelet 7806 with 80 end links and period matching clasp from « 2 65 ».
