Ghost Bezel

Serial   2,3xx,xxx (1969/70).

Dial:  perfect MK2 dial (6% of ref. 1680 production) with an absolutely splendid faded grey bezel giving the watch a unique ghost look. Date window, plexi crystal with cyclop, « Submariner » in red over white writing on the dial with short « f » of feet which is typical of the MK2 dial. Vanilla index. Hands have been replaced a while back ago (they are painted not luminous). The original luminous material on the index is weakish but still there under UV test and original.

Case:  superb thick case with beveled edges retaining exact initial proportions.

Bracelet:  beautiful riveted oyster bracelet 7206 with 80 end links. Clasp 4-61.

A Must have here in exceptionnal condition!
